Vivian Cao is a high school student and founder of Foundations. She is currently exploring vagueness and qualia. Her broader interests include logic, epistemology, philosophy of language and mind, AI, and scientific reasoning.

Luc Xie
Teacher Advisor
Luc Xie researches global capitalism, its history, and its future, and works as a software engineer at Bric&Brac. His broader interests include intellectual history, mathematical physics, and language acquisition.

Teacher Advisor
Dezhi Luo works on the theoretical foundations of cognitive science and AI, focusing on consciousness, agency, and understanding. He is an incoming MPhil/PhD student in philosophy at UCL. His research brings together philosophical, formal, and computational approaches to cognition and AI.
